Krabi lies on the Andaman sea, west of the southern Thai peninsula. Krabi has a beautiful mountainous geography, broken by highlands and plains on the mainland. Various rivers and streams flow gently off Krabi's highest mountain range. Main beaches are Ao Nang and the islands Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta.
