White water rafting

A spectacular tour of about two hours over the Mae Taeng River. During the ride you will take up to 20 cataracts, some of which are of the 4th category. The tour goes down stream through the mountains with on both sides wonderful jungle scenery.

The beginning is quite easy. You will practice under supervision of the river guide before the serious part begins. If you don't want to do the more difficult parts then you can hop on the minivan and join the group again later.

Safety is the most important issue. Before start of the tour you will get extensive safety instructions and demonstrations by the guides. These guides are specially trained for this with, among others, Swift watersavingtecniques, first aid and a thorough knowledge of the river. The participants carry special safety vests that take care that you will always lay on your back with your feet pointed downstream. You will also carry safety helmets.

Even for children starting at 12 years old this tour can be done.
