Payment terms

The payment terms below apply to all our prices, unless indicated otherwise.
  1. All prices are net prices per person, based on the indicated number of persons and including all taxes and service charges. Prices are subject to availability and valid from 1 November 2009 till / including 31 October 2010.
  2. Prices and special offers can change in the course of the year. Our website prices are therefore indicative. The correct price will be sent to you in a personal offer upon your request.
  3. Payments can be done to our bankaccounts in Thailand or Europe (the Netherlands). Bank fees and costs for international money transfers that your bank will charge you are not included in our prices. These costs are for you. For bookings of less than 40,000 Baht (U$ 1180) a surcharge of 500 Baht (U$ 15) applies.
  4. Payments can also be made by credit card via our secure website. In that case a surcharge of 6% applies.
  5. Exchange rate clause. Our prices are principally in Thai Baht and we prefer that payments are made in Thai Baht to our Thai bankaccount. We offer the possibility to pay in Euro or USD as an additional service and at the actual exchange rate on the date of payment, because effects of exchange rate fluctuations are not included in our prices. All prices in USD are valid for payments in USD to our Thai bankaccount on days that the exchange rate is 32 Baht per USD or higher. All prices in EUR are valid for payments in EUR to our Dutch bankaccount on days that the exchange rate is 40 Baht per EUR or higher. For payments on days that the exchange rate is lower than these values, the indicated prices need to be corrected as follows:
                                  Corrected price in USD  =  32 / actual rate on day of payment  x  Indicated price in USD
                                  Corrected price in EUR  =  40 / actual rate on day of payment  x  Indicated price in EUR
  6. Payments need to be done in 2 parts:
    1. A downpayment of 10% + costs for flight- and traintickets, minimum $280, latest 2 weeks after we confirm your booking;
    2. The full invoice amount to be received by us latest 30 days (60 days for bookings in peak periods) before start of your tour.
    Peak periods are from 10-Dec-09 till 15-Jan-10 for all destinations in Thailand, from 1-Jul-10 till 15-Sep-10 for the Koh Samui islands and on request for other destinations. The downpayment is non-refundable.
  7. Costs for cancellations in non-peak periods (peak-periods) are the downpayment amount for cancellations until 30 (60) days prior to the start of your tour, add 20% of the booking amount for cancellations between 20 and 29 (50 - 59) days prior to start of your tour, add 50% of the booking amount for cancellations between 10 and 19 (30 - 49) days before start of your tour and the downpayment amount + add 75% of the booking amount for cancellations from 10 - 3 (30 - 7) days prior to the start of your tour. For cancellations less than 3 (7) days before start of your tour, on or after the starting date of your tour and for no-shows the cancellation costs are 100% of the booking amount. We recommend that you take a cancellation insurance at the moment that you book your tour.
  8. For payments not received on time we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
  9. Single surcharges apply to all our website prices for single rooms for 2 persons or more. They do not apply to our website prices for 1 person.
