Day 1 - 3. Bangkok city starter.  Upon your arrival at Bangkok International Airport our local representative will be waiting for you in the arrival hall and bring you comfortably to your hotel by aircon minibus. Three overnight stays in the New World Lodge are included, a cozy family hotel conveniently located in the old historical centre of Bangkok and close to Khao San Road. These 3 days you can explore Bangkok at your own leisure or book one of our City tours or Minitrips. Try for instance the Amazing Bangkok Cycling experience, visit the Calypso Cabaret, go shopping at one of the countless shopping centers or admire the splendor of Bangkok's great temples. Enjoy a tour through Bangkok's canals, visit the Royal Barge Museum, have dinner in Chinatown and end the day in one of the night life areas of Bangkok.

Day 4 - 5. River Kwai.  Morning pick you up at your hotel. Visit the River Kwai Bridge, the War museum and the War cemetery. Take a historic ride on the Death Railway train to Nam Tok, crossing the famous River Kwai Bridge. The last part of the track is spectacular! Take a long-tailed boat from the pier. Passing by unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery you will arrive at the River Kwai Jungle Rafts Hotel, your own floating bamboo bungalow in the middle of the jungle. There is no electricity, your veranda is lit with burning oil lamps and there's a cool night breeze through the windows. You can swim or rent a kayak. Visit to the nearby ethnic Mon Tribal Village (optional tour: elephant riding through the bamboo forest, not included). Dinner followed by a presentation of Mon Dance. Day 5 starts with an exciting boat ride downstream to Resotel Pier and continue to visit to the Hell Fire Pass Memorial. An impressive place with time for consideration in a local war museum built by the Australians. Checkout and transfer to the pier. Onward transfer to Bangkok for the night train to Chiang Mai.

Day 6. Chiang Mai.  Morning arrival in Chiang Mai and to your hotel Down Town Inn (or similar hotel) in Chiang Mai. The rest of the day is free to enjoy at your own leisure in Chiang Mai. Next you will visit the caves of Chiang Dao and a white marble Buddha image from Burma. After lunch you will go to an Akha village and a neighboring Lisa village. Then walk to the village of the Palong where you will stay overnight. The next morning you will make an elephant ride of about 1,5 hour through the jungle. Enjoy the ride and the stunning views over the jungle from the back of this animal. After the ride you will visit a camp on the banks of a river where bamboo rafts are prepared to go downstream over the river. On the way back you will visit an orchid farm. We can then adapt this tour to your requirements. Be as specific as you can, for instance let us know if location on the beach is important to you, whether you want a hotel close to restaurants and nightlife entertainment (or not), if the hotel needs to have spa or fitness rooms, facilities for children such as childrens playroom, playgarden or kiddy pool, wireless internet and so on. We can advise you and we offer a wide range of hotels.
