WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU DURING A TREK. As little as possible! A pair of long and short trousers, good deep-treaded walking boots, slippers, water bottle, sheets or sleeping bag, torch (flashlight) and a cap against the sun; and in the rainy season a poncho. From November till March it can be cold at night, so take a sweater and jacket. We have clean washed sleeping bags, small rucksacks, mats and mosquito nets for rent at a small fee. Water bottles can be used for free. Money can not be changed on the way so take as much money as you think you need. Never make a jungle tour on your own. The risk that you cannot find the village and will get lost is high and an overnight stay in the jungle is not pleasant. Click here for more information on how to prepare for a trekking. Important: It is necessary that you come to our office in Chiang Mai at least 1 day before the trek. Take your passport with you because we need to submit a copy of your passport (photo page + entry stamp) to the tourist police. This cannot be done on the day of departure. |
